I have done quite a bit of research on green smoothies.  I've read many articles and have read Victoria Boutenko's Green For Life.  A friend of mine who also drinks green smoothies told me that she has read that the combination of citrus and greens and increase potential toxicity.  Any thoughts?

I've heard once before that citrus wasn't good in green smoothies. I asked for more info but there was none to give. Did your friend tell you how or why it increases potential toxicity?

I have been unsuccessful in finding any info on the subject and would love to learn more.

I too have heard that before but without a reason why.

I also would like to learn more. If anyone has info or ideas please share.
