Day one of the green smoothie challenge starts off with a simple single serving smoothie. Making exactly one pint of green smoothie can be challenging but we were successful here.
1/2 ripe banana
1 tsp chia seed
3 wedges fresh frozen peach
5 chunks fresh frozen pineapple
1 collard leaf (stem removed)
1 chard leaf (stem removed)
~1 cups water
When making this smoothie all ingredients were added then water was added to the 2 cup mark on our Vitamix. Sweet - delicious and nutritious!
