Basic green smoothie - where to start

Hypothyroidism is very common in older women past menopause. Goitrogenic foods that suppress thyroid activity include RAW kale, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, peaches, so take it easy on those items. Be sure to eat a little seaweed everyday, not too much.

Green Thickies:
This is a great green smoothie to start with.  My favorite basic green smoothie is:

2 cups water
1 mango
1 cup spinach

I love quick and easy ingredients as I can't get hold of more unusual ingredients in the UK.  I love these Green Smoothie Recipes as the ingredients are very easy to find. 

I also really enjoy making a meal out of my Green Smoothies by turning them into Green Thickies with oats and seeds.

My baby also loves these.
