This has become one of my standards, modified depending on what I have in the fridge--my 5-year old announced this morning that this particular one was his favorite so far, so I thought I'd share it.

1 large orange
1 bunch grapes
1 banana
4-5 cranberries
2 dates
2 stalks celery
6 kale leaves
1/4 c. soaked chia seed
1 tbsp. flaxseed oil
~1 cup water

This was borderline too sweet for me, but I love the orange/grape/banana combo!

This looks like an awesome smoothie!

It's so great to see you using chia - one of the most nutritious ingredients on the planet. And good for you for using cranberries, if you want to cut the sweetness add some more cranberries.

Your recipe looks really good.  I've just received my Vita-Mix so I'm trying the green smoothies.  Where do you get Chia seeds?  I've looked at my local health food store but haven't found them.

Hi jp4hlth.

It can be difficult to find Chia seeds in stores, although they are gaining popularity and they are appearing a lot more readily. My recommendation is to buy them online.

I buy my Chia seeds at Navitas.
