Turnip and Collard Greens

Does anyone use turnip or collard greens in their smoothies? I'm just wondering because right now they are in season and soooo cheap. I was thinking of buying a bag and trying it but thought I'd get opinions here first.

Absolutely!
Collards are pretty much a staple for our green smoothies. And I always use turnip greens when available - I'm the "strange guy" at the farmers market asking people for there turnip tops because I have no interest in the bottoms. They are especially abundant now and are a fantastic source of anti-oxidants and Vitamins.
When choosing collards, get smaller leaves that are dark green as they tend to be fresher and milder in flavor.
Give them a try.

Yes, buy those bags. Both collard greens and turnip greens are great in green smoothies.
Also, don't pass up on the beet greens and the various varieties of kale available this time of year

I used to use collard greens every once in a while. They are more bitter than kale but are still good in smoothies.
