Hey, I am new to this and want some more specifics on proper combining with blending. I read somewhere perhaps here when juicing or blending not one needs not concern oneself how combos digest. I am interested in planning my meals around my activities and do require full digestion for runs & swims. Also it would be great to have portion sizes not this 5 lbs of fruit per day...I was hoping for more like cups... thanks

You should definitely pay attention to combos. Just follow the cardinal rule of:
- don't combine fats or complex carbohydrates with your fruit (greens are neither)
That's because fruit digests a lot quicker than most foods and when mixed in your belly, the fruit ferments while waiting for the rest of the food to go through the process. Juicing is a little different because it is an extraction which removes fiber and pulp so it all is quickly digested and absorbed (of course you still need to avoid juicing fats).
Portion sizes are a bit more complicated as you need to consider everything you are eating to know correct portions for you. Some regimes recommend 80% of all food be fruit while others keep fruit to near zero (especially if diabetic).
