Most mornings these days I've been making a variation of the following recipe for breakfast, and then I'll make a smoothie to take to work.
8-10 raw almonds
Sprinkling of raw sunflower seeds
Any other raw nuts of your choice
Chopped dates and/or raisins
Make a fairly small portion, because you will be adding to it in the morning. Cover with water and set out overnight, covered. In the morning, drain the water and add some chopped fruit (pomegranate seeds are great with it, but I’ve also used chopped apple, kiwi, grapes, etc.). Sprinkle a little cinnamon and pour a little almond, hazelnut or hemp milk over it. I will sometimes add some shredded coconut as well.
