BlendTec 20amp... vs Blentec 13amp Total Blender

Good Afternoon,
Does anyone have any experience with the 20amp Blendtec? Specifically if it's any better than the 13 amp Total Blender. Does it yield a finer flour? Are fruits and veggies "micronized" any better than the 13 amp? I like to make peanut butters, so I wonder if the additional amps will allow the machine to be more heavy duty and handle making lots of peanut butter without overloading it. If they both yield the same product, why spend the extra $700?
Thanks,
Eric

Hello Eric,
The 20amp Blendtec Extreme blender is truly an awesome machine!
I have not ground flour in it, I use the Kitchen Mill for grain grinding. It makes nut butters "like butter" - I've ground 20 pounds of raw almonds into butter in about 15 minutes without any problem. I have yet to see it get overloaded from anything. It does a superior job at blending whole/large chunk frozen fruits compared to the 13 amp Total Blender.
I hope that helps.

I would really like to get a hold of a 20amp Blendtec to see what it can do. I would imagine it can do pretty much anything you want - the difference in power between 13 and 20amps is huge.
Eric, if you do get one please let us know what you think!
