I have just joined this site and have been using the older Vitamix 3600.

I really enjoy it and have been considering upgrading to the newer models but - I am not sure  if they will heat up the soup as does the 3600.

I do enjoy the various soup mixes and wondering if the 5200 also heat up the veggies or just liquefying them?

Yes indeed Ray, the 5200 makes great hot soups!

So how long have you been using your 3600?
