Groupon Vitamix 6000 Sale

And now for something a little different from Vitamix. The 6000 is the first residential Vitamix blender made to offer only timer settings (6 of them) and pulse. You get the same 11.5 amp motor, good recipe book, and tamper you find in other classic c-series models (5200) but what’s missing is the variable speed control. What sets Vitamix apart from any other performance blender on the market is the precision variable speed control and this model doesn’t have it.

vitamix 6000 vs 5200 controls

Yes, the Vitamix 6000 is a solid performing machine but this particular model is the most limited in how you can use it. For about the same price you can get get the Vitamix 5200 which includes the Variable speed control and comes with a 7-year warranty (2 more years than the 6000). If you must have to have pre-set blending then you may wish to consider the Pro 750 which has the variable speed plus 5 pre-programmed settings. If you are series about program cycles then consider a Blendtec.

Is the Groupon 6000 deal a good price?

Julie,
If the Vitamix 6000 without a variable speed and with timed blends, is the model that fits what you want from your blender then yes, the Groupon reconditioned deal is a really good price.

If variable speed and other features are important to you then you should definitely consider other Refurbished Vitamix modelsdirect from Vitamix which start at only $299 as well.

No variable speed? No thank you.

Why would anyone buy a Vitamix without it? Thanks for the quick comparison.
