Our amazing journey began in 2006 when we started teaching our world about green smoothies and blenders. Shortly thereafter we began the Got Greens? website. We have given away over 40 blenders in person and for our birthday we want to give a reader a new blender. But not just any blender. You have the choice between a Vitamix or a Blendtec!

I like the Blendtec, I think my daughter would get lots of use with it

I’d like to have the Blendtec because of the 6 cycles it has

I prefer the Vitamix. I have been juicing for a year now and this is the way to go. It’s powerful, has easy to use controls and is an easy clean.
I want the Blendtec because I think it is more powerful

The Vitamix is supposed to be quieter then the Blendtec. Important for those early morning smoothies. Plus I like the idea that 70% of the Vitamix is made in America.
Although I don’t think you can go wrong with either blender, I prefer the smaller size of the Blendtec
I have heard great things about both the Vitamix and Blendtec, but I picked Blendtec because it has a more powerful motor, and different size jars.
I love the Vitamix because its such a great all around kitchen appliance and doesn’t compare to all the others!

I LOVE the vitamix blender! It works so well and is easy to store and clean. I actually had one but it got broken in our move 🙁 so I would love to win another vitamix to complete my kitchen again! 🙂
I liked the Vitamix mainly because it is the only one I have seen in action—my friend has one. the truth is that I have read wonderful things about both machines and would love to own either one.

I would love to win a Vitamix because I had one for many years and found it to be a great tool.
I’d be grateful to win either one. But if I had my choice I would choose the Vitamix. I’ve watched several reviews on youtube and they are all positive. I haven’t owned a blender for years and would really love to finally be able to make smoothies and other great things.

I picked the Blendtec because I watched a demo of one at a local store and was really impressed with how it performed. I would be thrilled to have either of them because I’ve heard excellent things about the Vitamix.
I would love the Vitamix- I appreciate that it is quieter than the Blendtec.
I want a VitaMix because I have observed a friend’s “in action” and was impressed with the power blending. I was put off by the fact that VitaMix blenders won’t usually fit under standard cabinets but I think this newest model fixes that problem.
My cousin has a viatmix so I would love to win a blendtec to compare the two
Blendtec – love the fact that it has pre-programmed cycles and that you don’t need a tamper! It is also much prettier in my opinion

It’s a hard choice. I like the compactness of the Blendtec but the Vitamix won out because it has a dry grains container for grinding your own flours which I would like to do. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I would pick the Vitamix because I have a friend who I have seen use it before and she always says that it’s the best investment in her kitchen that she’s made. I’d love one for myself.

I love the blendtec from personal experience. I have never used a vitamix so I can’t completely compare, but I remember when deciding between the two the blendtec came ahead for me. The blendtec seems easier to use with just as much (maybe even more) efficiency as the vitamix.
I would choose the Vitamix because I like the container options.

I would LOVE LOVE to win the vitamix. I have used one at my mothers house and absolutely Love it way it works! I also like the fact that I could use it to grind grains and sometimes chop some vegetables!

I prefer the Vitamix because you have so much more control over the speed and more options with the lower speeds being available.
I started out thinking I would choose the Blentec but after reading your comparison, I would choose the Vitamix because it is more industrial, less noisy and I like to control the speed and time of the blending.
I’ve read so much about the Vitamix and it has all been great. I’m sure Blendtec is too, though. 🙂
