As we approach the second week of our Green Smoothie Challenge, we have a Special Request to post today’s recipe to our site. This has by far been one of the most popular smoothies made during our green smoothie challenge.
Gain the amazing health benefits of Mango and enjoy this delicious treat. (Feel free to substitute Chard as your greens, it is also a lovely combination with Mango and Cherry.)
Mango Cherry Green Smoothie
1 TBS Hemp Seed
1 fresh cut Mango
1/2 cup fresh pitted Cherries
1 cup Spinach
5 Kale leaves (about 1 cup chopped)
About 1 1/2 cup water
(or to desired consistency)
Put it in your blender and make it smooth. Makes about Two 12 oz servings
We just love the combination of hemp seed and Mango – add some cherry and WOW! This combination is very creamy, almost custard like. Less water and you could enjoy it in a bowl with a spoon or add more water for a smooth, tasty drink in your glass.
