Chia Seeds

Chia-Pet Cha cha cha chia

You know it from the 80’s and 90’s

Now with the advent of the revolution, Chia has become a heavily sought after super food source by those in the know – but what makes it so super?

The easiest way, add them to your smoothies. Or you can make a pudding with them (it’s similar texture to tapioca). Also, put them in salad dressings, use them in place of breadcrumbs for things like meatloaf

I have looked into buying some Salba , actually just a few weeks ago, but because they’re so new the price is still kinda ridiculous. Salba is currently going for around $27/lb (and that’s a cash deal). Another store has them for $34/lb. I may check into ‘importing’ some, see if I can save a few bucks
